I'm excited about the opportunity to collaborate with you on regaining control in your life. Together, we'll navigate the path towards reclaiming a sense of balance and empowerment. My clients are driven to improve their life. I provide tools, techniques and to explore yourself , your family dynamics and relationship patterns to understand their roots.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist, holding a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, along with a graduate degree from The Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Additionally, I possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University. My expertise also extends to completing the Perinatal Mood Disorders certificate training through Postpartum Support International.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, I embarked on my journey by working with children, making Art Therapy my primary therapeutic approach. Currently, my focus has expanded to working with individual adults, couples, and parents, all within the framework of attachment theory and a psychodynamic model. I tailor my treatment style to each client, emphasizing a client-centered integrated approach that incorporates models such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
In this dynamic process, I engage in guiding and collaborating with each client, facilitating their personal journey towards emotional equilibrium and overall well-being. My experience encompasses aiding individuals dealing with an array of psychological challenges, including grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, and challenges in partnerships related to parenting, relationships, and marital issues.
I have also spent the last several years supervising master level students training to be therapists in Ontario.
I am a mom to twin teens and fur babies. All boys!
